The Yeti is also known as The Abominable Snowman, Sasquatch and many others in almost every language.  Presumed to be a giant ape descended from the Gigantopithicus that lived in southern China about 500,000 years ado, and whose fossil remains were found in 1937.  Fossil bones were also found in France in 1868.  There have been, also, many reports of sightings of footprints in Tibet and on Mount Everest.  Some people believe that certain groups of this creature crossed the Bering Strait to North America and could be the ancestors of the Sasquatch.  A live Yeti was filmed in Bluff Creek in Northern California in 1967.  Experts have "authenticated" this film.  Is the Yeti real?  You decide!
