The Spirited Ghost                                

The soul of a dead person believed to be an inhabitant of the underworld and to appear to the living in bodily likeness.  Some ghosts seem to be malevolent by causing items to fly around and crash to the floor and other frightening acts.  Some appear to be pranksters, playing jokes on the living, rattling chains and the like but never doing serious harm.
